On Sunday, December 8th, the members of the Gillett FFA got up bright and early to start preparing for their annual holiday dinner.
This event took a lot of planning. First, they had to decide what the meal was going to be and estimate the cost. They decided the meal would consist of ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cheese slices and dinner rolls. The cost would be a non-perishable food item that would be donated to the local food pantry. Next, they went out to local businesses to ask for donations to offset the cost. Then came the day of the dinner.
This year they served 50 people and collected 90 items. Thank you to all who came and supported the Gillett FFA’s Holiday Dinner.
